At the heart of Incarnational Spirituality is the idea that each of us is a generative source of spiritual blessing and energy. Each of us generates unique spiritual qualities that can create wholeness in ourselves, in our relationships, and in the world at large. This generative capacity arises in part because of our innate spiritual nature and in part due to the process of incarnation itself. It can be augmented by ways in which we apply the principles of this incarnational process in our lives. This six-week online class introduces these basic principles and gives an overview of the collaborative practice at the heart of Incarnational Spirituality. It provides an overall context for the practice of Incarnational Spirituality, introducing some of the ways that we can align with and nurture the awakening of a new consciousness within ourselves. Through a variety of exercises, it teaches practical means for accessing the spiritual resources that arise
within each of us simply as a result of living our lives as incarnated humans.
The class, taught by the Lorian Faculty, works with material presented in An Introduction to Incarnational Spirituality by David Spangler. PDF copies of Introduction to Incarnational Spirituality and Call of the World will be available in the class.
